Many veterans qualify for Medicare, additional assistance, or extra benefits but never receive clear explanations about how these programs work together. As a result, veterans often pay more than they should or go without support they may be entitled to receive.
The goal of Medicare Veteran’s Playbook is simple:
to provide clear, honest education and make it easier for veterans to get answers.
This site is operated by Yana Smith, a licensed Medicare insurance broker who works with veterans to review Medicare options, identify potential benefits, and explain choices in plain language. There is no obligation, no pressure, and no cost to ask questions or request information.
